Dear All,
The FHNO 2020 Meeting is going virtual!
It gives us immense pleasure to invite you for the FHNO 2020 (Foundation for Head &Neck
Oncology) to be held on 12th - 13th December 2020 on a virtual platform to allow maximum
participation.
The team at FHNO is engaged in putting together a virtual meeting simulating many of the
aspects of a real-world meeting. At this virtual meeting, we expect to come up to and surpass the
standards you have come to expect from previous FHNO real world meetings. We shall have our
orations, academic sessions, instructional courses, posters and video submissions, and award
papers and poster sessions-- interspersed with coffee and lunch breaks, faculty and meeting
lounges, small group lounges, and industry participation. We encourage members to apply for
FHNO travel awards.
An Industry and Exhibitor hall will allow for interaction with our collaborators in the industry
to bring us up-to date with innovations springing from the industry in these changing times.
We are working to ensure CME Credits to all participants for this academic meeting.
All delegates shall receive Certificate of Participation. All delegates with poster/ podium
presentations and video submissions shall receive a Certificate of Presentation.
Abstract submissions shall open on 5 th September. An additional section in this meeting would
be for video submissions. Videos and posters submitted shall be available for virtual viewing by
all registered delegates for an additional few months after the meeting.
There is a small registration fee. This should however not be a deterrent to participating in this
meeting with multiple educational opportunities. Additionally, it is a chance to catch up with
like-minded colleagues and friends who would be on the same platform and may be tapped for a
chat at the coffee break.
With so many congresses having been cancelled or significantly reduced this year because of the
COVID-19 pandemic, FHNO 2020 will provide an exceptional opportunity to learn the most up-
to-date science and clinical practices in Head-Neck Cancer.
Regards,
Organising Committee
